Question

Is there an application or process that can pull information from an Outlook email address to go directly into a Repository without any action by an end user?

asked on March 29, 2024

I often receive automated emails from an agency that notifies me with data used to run a portion of our business. We want to skip receiving these emails and have the data go directly into our Laserfiche repository without action from an end user. What are the options to pull information from an Outlook email address to go directly into a repository?

You will want to purchase Import Agent. Import Agent includes a second product called Email Archive that you can connect to an email account and have it automatically capture emails and/or their attachments and send them to Laserfiche. It can assign metadata, tags, etc. It can also capture metadata about the email, such as sender, to address, cc address, date and time sent, etc.

Thank you, Blake. The Email Archive is exactly what we need to automatically route emails to a repository and is easy to set up. Thanks!
