So we are trying to configure the DocuSign integration in on prem and are running into confusion.  It seems we run into problems every single time we try and we are not sure what account does what.

We have configured the integration according to the guide using the customers account and the account information from one of the IT users.  We setup the connector and generated an app password.  The whole process seems to work but when the email goes out for signing it is going out as that IT user and we want it to go out as the City Clerk.

So in the DocuSign config in WebAccess Config we changed the user.  We had the user generate their own app password.  This seems to save just fine.

 

Then on the front end of Laserfiche we changed the config to be that same user and the same app password.   But it just says "invalid DocuSign credentials".  The old account will remain connected.

 

 

I guess we dont understand the relationship between the user account, user password, app password, and API account ID.

I assume the API account ID is the same and is based on the cusomters overall account correct?  We created the the DocuSign Connect and got all the information and it worked.  Do we need to setup a whole new DocuSign connect as the user we are trying to use?  The user generated their own app password but it says invalid credentials?  We seemed to have tried most things and we are just unable to determine what interacts with what.

Again we have it working with a certain account.  We now want to switch to a different account.  We have changed the back end config to that new user (with their generated app password) and then try to change the front end and get the error and are not sure what the issue is.
