Hi, we would like to encrypt all content in a Self-hosted Laserfiche repository.  We have been told VeraCrypt is a good tool that works with Laserfiche.  We would be really grateful to hear from anyone who has used it to get their opinion.

We are interested in understanding the following.  All info gratefully received.  Thanks!

•             Why did you choose VeraCrypt?

•             Has a dedicated partition been created for VeraCrypt or something else?

•             If a partition, is it on locally attached storage or network attached storage?

•             Are there any limitations in drive capacity, if so how have you overcome these?

•             If it is just on a folder in a drive what does it look like to someone without VeraCrypt installed on their machine.

•             Have you had to make any adjustments to the Laserfiche configuration to make it work, if so what?

•             Does the encryption have any affect on the performance of Laserfiche?

•             How does your backup process handle the encryption?

•             Do you backup the images or the VeraCrypt container?

•             Are there issues to be aware of when performing a restore?

•             How have you configured VeraCrypt to support the encryption of the images?
