When setting up a report using the Schedule a Report option, the report is a snapshot, could an option be provided so a scheduled report could be either a snapshot or a download? For a download, could the option to Include choices details like is available for downloading a report also be available?

In both the Schedule a Report and Download, could we be allowed to create our own file name?

My use case is that we are using the downloaded report with the choices details as an .xlsx file which we are loading into Tableau for analysis. So now we have to do a manual download in order to get the choices details and to rename the file so we can just overwrite the existing connected file.

For the option to download, we can't download a file to your computer directly with a schedule.

Currently there is an option to "Save to Repository" on creating scheduled report and it could save the report xlsx files. Then you can use Workflow to modify the file names saved in repository, and download the files manually.

Do you think if this solution would work for you with "include choices details" option added on schedule report?
