Is there a way to have the Action History open by default?

I have several users that forget the Action History pane exists. As a result they are working on tasks thinking no work has been done. Is there a way in Cloud to do this?

This comment includes a solution that worked in the Classic Designer on version 11.0.2212.  I’m on prem, but presumably this would also work in Cloud.  But only for the Classic Designer.  The Javascript in the New Designer is sandboxed from accessing parts of the screen like that.
