Question

Dynamic Fields

asked on February 4, 2024

Complete Newbie, looking for some help applying a Dynamic Fields Template to a form in the Business Process phase. Have a look up table with 4 columns (categories) each determining the grouping of the next to reduce the 500 options, as well has having correct data of each field (column) match up. Created the data table and a lookup that populates each field, correct data but not dynamic listing the entire column for each.

How do I apply the a Template with Dynamic Fields to the form or process to reduce options in each field as the form submitter moves through inputting each field? Or am I down the completely wrong process to accomplish this?

Is there a basic resource that can walk me through the step for a complete novice.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Tommy

Hi Tommy,

It sounds like you need to implement a lookup on your form. To do this, you will want to go to Process Automation > Rules and create a SELECT query using your table. Once the rule is created, go to your business process and configure it for the fields on your form.

Happy to help with this if needed, if you would like to submit a helpdesk ticket to your VAR :)
