"Generate Pages" not removing PDF logo

When we "Generate Pages" for a document that was PDF in the repository, the PDF logo remains instead of changing it to the blank page appearing TIFF image logo.  We are able to then merge the documents. but they still look as though they are not "Laserfiche Pages".  Settings have been changed so that any document being imported to the repository will be generate pages upon import, in that case it removes the PDF logo. Why is it not doing this when we "Generate Pages" after the fact?

Generating pages does not automatically remove the electronic file (PDF) from the entry when working on something that's already in the repository.

The import options have an additional setting that basically just combines multiple actions.

When you have the entry selected in the web client, there's a "Manage Electronic File" option in the top-right menu under Advanced below the options for generating pages/text.

I had luck with this, I "generated pages" and then deleted the electronic file using that option. Thank you!
