Course Description: 

This course is intended to give you ideas of what you can do with the security features in Laserfiche to help meet the needs of your organization. The content includes definitions and best practices for how to set security efficiently. It goes over the following topics at a high level with some examples: groups, feature rights, entry access rights and scope, field and template rights, privileges, and inheritance. This course is based on Laserfiche Cloud and the content also applies to Laserfiche 11.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

• Identify the different concepts related to repository security; like groups, inheritance, and scope
• Differentiate between application access, entry access rights, feature rights, and privileges
• Determine how to apply all of the security features in Laserfiche to help meet your organization needs
