If I change the cutoff instructions to None at first arrow and then apply the changes to child record series and record folders at the second arrow, will this fully eliminate the need for the cutoff process for all folders and documents currently residing there as well as future entries and allow us to destroy, in this case after 3 years, without issue?  We were told that we have to use cutoff instructions in transparent records management, but I have learned from experimentation in our testing environment that if they are setup without cutoff instructions initially that you can destroy them at the appropriate time. What concerns me here is doing this retroactively and it applying to everything that is already stored there.  

We have no want/need for cutoffs and do not wish to use the process.
