I have a Forms process that is kicked off by a workflow that populates various variables. The ones I want to focus on are a check box field and a table with several columns. The form has a field rule that hides the table based on if the check box is checked or not and is set to 'Ignore the data when the field is hidden'. The field rule is set on the table and not the individual columns of the table.
As an example, I'll use the following: The workflow populates the table with 5 rows of data when it invokes the Forms process. The user assigned the Forms task deletes 4 of the 5 rows, changes a value to one of the column values, and checks the check box, which hides the table. They then submit the form.
When looking at the variables that were set from the user task, it saved changes to the table and only has the 1 remaining row and the value they entered in one of the columns.
Should it not have ignored the changes made by the end user since the table was hidden by a field rule and was set to 'Ignore the data when the field is hidden' instead of saving the changes? Just trying to make sure I am understanding how it is supposed to work.
Using Laserfiche Forms version 11.0.2307.40556.
