Sending a mail to a user within a workflow with LF Cloud

I am trying to use the activity Email in Workflow on LF Cloud to send a mail to a user whose username has been assigned to a token.

I'd like to search in the account administration , to find this user by his username and retrieve his email address.

I haven't seen any activity like Find User on the Cloud

How can I retrieve this email address or send a mail by using only his username ?

Does your company have a standard email convention? For example:
Username = jdoe
Email = jdoe@companyemail.com 

 

If so, then you could just pass the token value in the To field and then type @companyemail.com 
It's not 'clean' but it works...

Hi Frederic, currently in Cloud there is no way to query the User Accounts list from Workflow, Laserfiche would tell you that you need to manage a Lookup Table or Decision Table with that information and then to query those tables. I agree this is a terrible solution, and hopefully Laserfiche addresses this in 2024. The only possible workaround I could think off would be if you use passed the username to a BP, and created the email using the email activity from within the BP, then the email task in BP, should pull the associated email address from the user account list. Maybe worth a try
