Hello,
I had a customer show me today that typing into a parent dynamic field, and using the backspace key to try to delete part of what they typed in, doesn't work. I'm actually able to replicate it on my own PC. This user has the [Settings]MaxDropDownLength attribute on their account, with a value of 50, if that matters. Backspace works fine on every field. This happens in both the Default Properties pane and the Revision pane. Anyone else ever run into this?
Also, the [Settings]MaxDropDownLength attribute DOES NOT take effect on dynamic fields that are also within a field group while in standard scanning. Would be nice if that could be fixed/updated.

Thanks for reporting this issue, we have logged it as bugs (ID 414248 for backspace key issue, ID 499693 for [Settings]MaxDropDownLength issue). We will continue to investigate and follow up on these bugs.
For backspace key issue, you can use the left arrow key to move the cursor back one character and then press the "delete" key or select the entire string, e.g. ctrl+a, and backspace/delete the entire string and start over as a workaround if needed.
