Portable Snapshot configuration

I have clients who are well versed with scanning and using LF Snapshot regularly. The ticket generating problem is when clients get a loaner/replacement laptop where Snapshot is not configured. The default folder path in Snapshot is the root of the repository where they are not allowed to create documents. Can their Snapshot settings/profile be included in their profile attributes so that it is portable like the other settings?

I think this information is actually stored in HKCU\Snapshot8\Profile\CurrentUser and is largely self explanatory. I'm not familiar with those DevMode registry keys but the info stored in them isn't plain text. 

In a quick test I manually updated the "LfFolder" key value and that was reflected in the Snapshot print settings.

Hi Jerry,

 

The snapshot configuration is stored in the registry here if you wanted to try and capture this to replicate to another profile via GPO etc.

 

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\DevModePerUser - Laserfiche Snapshot
