LF App - Metadata Questions

Hi! We just started using the LF app (on apple iPads) and our end users have a few questions:

1. Free-Form text fields do not expand to show all the text. Is there any way to display the metadata boxes as multi lines so that we can see all the text in the field?

2. Any way to get rid of the barcode button on metadata fields?

Hi Addison,

1. We have a bug filed for this issue. Will let you know once it's fixed

2. No we don't have a way to configure that, it is only hidden for devices that without camera.

Another issue we're having is session time-outs. Do you happen to know if there's a bug going on with those? I have the time-out set to 600 minutes in the mobile configuration page, and 0 in the IIS console, but the sessions still time out if you leave the iPad alone for say a half hour or so. Our delivery drivers are needing to keep signing back into the app on the iPads for every delivery destination they arrive at :/

Are you using LFDS or login Forms as well? There are time out settings on their end too, so if you are using them with mobile app, better check that as well.

The Forms Config Page does not have the timeout option checked

Where do I check in the LFDS for time-out?

I'll also note that in all of our IIS consoles, the idle timeout is set to 0

Another note: The time-out only happens on mobile devices (maybe when the iPad locks, the app stops??). We notice that if you're on a PC, there are no timeout issues for forms, repository, etc
