Laserfiche cannot be set up with Firebase Authentication. 

Firebase Authentication and its successor Google Identity Platform are generally intended for use in applications you're developing where you can integrate the Firebase/Identity Platform SDKs into the source code. This is not the case for Laserfiche's SAML integration.

While both allow you to connect SAML identity providers to them, neither will generate a normal SAML token to pass to a SAML service provider (Laserfiche Directory Server), which is required for Laserfiche's SAML integration.
