Could the Task Reminders be reconfigured so as to be something that once created for a task, I can use that same reminder for another task?

I have a business process that has multiple parallel approvals and I want to send reminders for uncompleted tasks.  As it is now, for each task, I have to fully configure the reminder.  It would be super convenient if my previously configured reminders were available to select from and I don't have to create a new reminder for each task.
