Number field, limit counter to max count

Is there a way to limit the number in a number field to the max/min specified in 'Answer Limit'? Answer Limit is error checking the field, but I would like to prevent the user from selecting a number past 5. I am using the Modern Designer.

Which version of Forms are you using now? Actually in 11U4, you can configure number field as below to prevent the user from selecting a number past 5.

I am currently on Forms 11.2, but am about to upgrade to 11.4. I used the min/max number option and it works for error checking, but it doesn't prevent the user from enter a number higher than 5. I was able to get around this by using a drop-down field instead instead of a number field. That way the only available options were 1 - 5.

They will be able to enter whatever they want, but it will give an error if they enter something outside the range limit specified.

Correct, we just wanted to limit their time on the form. The drop-down works great. Thanks for your help!
