Question

Question

search by relative date

asked on November 9, 2023

Hi there.

I am trying to create a saved search which looks for particular documents create at least "x" days ago.

Is that even possible for Laserfiche?

The error is a bug in the web client where it assumes your date format is MM-dd-yyyy if your language is set to English. It should work if you flip the date components to match your date format.

But you are correct, there is currently no way to save a search that would recalculate the start/end dates based on the current date every time you load it.

Yes. You can use the below filter option in combination with a folder location or something else to narrow down your search.

Thanks, Blake.

I tried that, but it doesn't seem to work as I would like.

When I use "In the past 10 days", it generates this:

{LF:Created>="10-30-2023", Created<="11-9-2023"}

What I need though, is where date created is less than today - 10 days so not quite what I need.
