No matter what I put in the mobile config page for how many minutes to allow before timing out, the app still times out within a half hour or so. Any ideas on how to fix that?? We're going to have some people using the mobile app continuously on cellular tablets and we do not want to make them sign in every time they open it up.

Hi Addison,
Could you please check the following?
- If using LFDS for authentication, check the session durations in /LFDSSTS/configuration
- Check the Forms inactivity timeout in /FormsConfig -> User Authentication
- Check the repository-level idle timeout in the desktop Laserfiche Administration Console (I believe under Advanced Settings or similar)
One or more of those may be affecting the LF Mobile App timeout.
Hi Samuel,
Thanks so much for the response!
I have checked all of that and I see that they're all set to 480 minutes.
I see 480 minutes entered in the Mobile Config page, the Admin Console, the Forms Configuration Page, the Web-Based Repository, the STS config page on LFDS.
Are there any other places I should check? I'm still getting kicked out as a mobile user far more quickly than what I have it set for
Thanks for checking those. If you're not already running the latest version of Mobile Server (11.0.1.1 as of today), I would upgrade first and see if there's any change in behavior. If you are, or upgrading doesn't resolve the issue, I recommend opening a support case as your next step.
I also recommend attempting to reproduce the issue on multiple devices if you haven't already. Mobile/App issues are sometimes traced to specific interactions with device models and OSes, like "Samsung Galaxy S10 running Android 12.1".
If you open a support case, make sure to include version/build numbers for Mobile Server and the App, as well as specific device model(s) and OS/version(s).
Thanks again, Samuel.
I think I figured it out, though!
I hadn't thought of checking the timeout on the Application Pool in the IIS! I changed that to no timeout and it appears to be working!
