Custom HTML use row from collection or table

I found this post where @████████mentions using the "[]" feature at the end of a collection to point to that specific row of the collection:

Has this feature been disabled in Forms 11? It is not working for me for collections nor tables. Can anyone else use this feature successfully?

Just to confirm - you are doing this on a task where the variables were already populated prior to the task - correct?

Because this works when the form is loaded, displaying the values that are already in the variables - it doesn't work as you are changing the contents of the fields, like a formula would.

No that's actually it. You nailed it. I had to load the variable with workflow at the start of the process for it to work. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I feel a lovely Laserfiche Support ticket coming on. I'm on the exact same version. One thing to note is that I am using the new forms designer.
