How to find an archived repository entry from the Forms Service Task

posted on October 4, 2023 Show version history

If I am looking at a forms service task in my process history, how do I find this entry's ID?

I tried searching by creation date and time and could not find anything for several instances.

Hi, we have supported that showing name and folder of entries saved by Save to Repository service task in instance history on Forms 11 Update 5.

You can see other changes from:

Get Forms 11 Update 5 from Laserfiche 11 package:

Here is a video that shows how it works:

Assuming it's not deleted and not hidden from you due to security, search by creation time should find it.

If no metadata was saved at creation time, it may be hard to match documents to their instances. Looking in Audi Trail might be a better way to find what happened to the document.

We found they were all being deleted by a workflow, a Entry ID would have helped confirm this sooner though since if I search by Entry ID and it does not show up I know it was deleted for sure.

It is good to have the archived entry ID information in forms service task

In cloud, a similar feature has been applied by which users can check the file entry information. And on self-hosted, the migration of this feature is also underway.
