Laserfiche Hardware and Software requirements for RIO License.

Dear Community,

We have concerns regarding the Laserfiche RIO.


Using the SQL Standard Edition as our SQL Server may work properly without any issues.

Hi Raphael,

If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if SQL Server Standard Edition is supported for self-hosted Laserfiche (Rio) systems. 

There is a support site documentation page for Supported Configurations that lists supported SQL database versions and editions.

To summarize: Currently SQL Server Standard 2014 through 2022 are supported. SQL Server Enterprise Edition is also supported but not required. Please note that SQL Server 2014 is about to be end of life by Microsoft so do not use it for new systems.
