Question

Laserfiche icons

asked on September 6, 2023

I have a laserfiche integration (through the use of REST API for cloud) in our web application and wanted to use a laserfiche icon. I am looking to use something like https://assets.laserfiche.com/_common/site_dev/favicon.png

Is there any recommended way that I should use the icon links from laserfiche in our web application?

Is there any other public URLs I should be looking at instead?

Yes, as long the icon is not used in a nefarious or deceiving way.

Is this what you are looking for? https://www.laserfiche.com/favicon.ico  redirects to https://www.laserfiche.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/favicon.webp  (which may change in the future).

P.S. Just for curiosity, if you can share, what's the propose of your integration using the Laserfiche APIs?

Thanks Paolo. I will use this link in our web app.

We have clients that use Laserfiche for document management. We want to let users see their documents that are stored in their Laserfiche repository and we want to use the icons in our webpage to indicate that users are viewing their Laserfiche repository.

I would not use laserfiche.com url since may change. To avoid broken links you may want to serve the icon from your web server.

Thanks for the info.

Do you mean I can download this icon from (https://www.laserfiche.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/favicon.webp), save it in my web server and serve it from there rather than using URL?
