pop up window when someone closes a form without submitting it

We are having an issue with people filling out a form and not submitting it, but just closing the form thinking that it actually submitted.  Is there a way that I can prompt someone (in Forms 11) that clicks the close window button, to tell them they have NOT submitted the form and that they need to submit the form?

Hi Katy,

You can add custom JavaScript to your form to create such a popup.

You might want to check this post, some JS example is mentioned there :)

I saw that post.  Does it work in Forms Designer 11?

Hi katy,

If you are using a modern form designer, then it may not be compatible. The modern form designer it quite different from classic designer and it does not have direct access to the document, form, fields, attributes, etc.  You can access via the LFForm Interface .

For modern form designer,  I would suggest to open up a support ticket and have our support engineer to help you with the customization.
