Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like and also post the version of WebLink you are using?
I redacted the metadata... The main display pane should be displaying the document.
Sorry - Laserfiche WebLink Version: 11.0.2303.1404
Is it an electronic file?
Hi Michael,
You mentioned "This is not able to be replicated."
What specifically does that mean? Is it occurring:
- X%-100% of the time for some users but not others?
- 100% of the time for some users in a normal browser window but not an incognito/InPrivate one?
- for some documents 100% of the time but never for others?
This kind of display issue usually has one of two causes:
- A browser has an cached copy of the previous WebLink's version's "pdf.js" or other display-related web application files and is loading it instead of the new WebLink 11 one. Try clearing the browser cache and/or opening WebLink in an Incognito/InPrivate browser window to force it to retrieve the latest file and see if the issue persists.
- There is some incompatibility between the specific document's PDF version and publisher and the current version of WebLink's "pdf.js".
've seen this be things like "PDF v1.2 docs published by Adobe Acrobat 9.0" or "PDF 1.4 docs published by skia 86 - 88 (Chromium's PDF generation component)".- If after ruling out #1 above you determine this might be the issue, please reach out to your Solution Provider and have them open a support case with us. Provide a few sample PDF files that have the display issue, along with a browser network trace (.har file) capturing the issue and any DevTools "Console" errors/warnings.
We are usually able to fix these PDF version/publisher/etc. specific issues if they're reproducible.

Hope that helps,

I would update the latest version of WebLink first. There have been a lot of fixes regarding PDFs specifically.
Oh yes, definitely upgrade to the latest WebLink update first like Blake suggested. That would be WebLink 11 Update 3 as of today.
Don't forget to back up your WebLink configuration with the SettingsBundler utility before you upgrade!
