I have my New Document options in a test repository set up to "Generate searchable text when importing documents". I also have the settings set so that all image files, including PDFs, are converted to TIFF. Sometimes when I drag and drop a PDF to the repository (from the same location) the text is searchable, sometimes it is not?  I do not get the option to "generate pages" in the document menu for those that aren't searchable either.
