Question

collection drop-down Issues

asked on August 22, 2023

I have a collection with single-line fields and drop-down fields. Both field types within the collection have look up rules. The single-line field will not show all values clearly and the dropdown field will not append the lookup values to the label choices when in the collection. Pictures below:

Collection Drop Down Field

Not in a collection single-line field

Not in a collection Dropdown Field

Is anyone else running into this issue with collections in Forms?

Nevermind, I tried the fields and rules on a different process and it worked correctly. It looks to be isolated to one process which I copied from another. Deleting the collection, saving the form, and then adding the collection back fixed the problem for the form that wasn't working.

For single line, the issue would occur if the string is too wide relative to the single line's width and we've logged it as a bug (ID 480747).

For drop down, I cannot reproduce it. Could you provide more information about the lookup rule, the drop down field and the form?

This is how the drop-down in the collection and the look up rule are set up:

The form will be used along with workflow to update SQL tables that keep track of station supplies that can be ordered. Some supplies are station specific and others are available to all stations.

I still cannot reproduce this issue. Could you provide the process and the version of Form that you are using?
