Laserfiche Form 11 - Save as Draft "Click here to complete your form" points to old server

asked on August 17, 2023 Show version history

Hello Team,

Recently, we have migrated customer LF from an old production machine to a new production machine with a different IP and domain name.

Everything is working fine on the new server, but I am concerned about the ""Click here to complete your form" link inside the Draft email, which was sent by clicking on the "Save as Draft" button inside the LF form. ( Please check screenshot)

It's in public form, and when we test internally, that link points to the new production domain and works fine over there. But when some customers check, it shows the old production link, and it shows an error when customers try to open the link for email.

Please let me know if there are any settings required on a new production related to saving as a draft email link.

Thanks,

Pratik

Hi Pratik,

There is an option FormsHostEmailOverride in Forms database table cf_options that may affect the URL. Could you check whether the option value has been updated to new production server?

If you are on 11 Update 4, the option can be easily checked from Forms Configuration site -> Advanced Options tab

Hi Pratik,

If you haven't already found a solution for this, the only thing I can think of checking is the Email Templates in FormsConfig. I believe this screenshot shows the default; maybe yours was modified and points explicitly to your old production server? You said this a public form - if two different Forms servers are involved, you'll want to check FormsConfig on both.
