I really don't think so.  I've never seen anything like that for that field or anything similar to it.

I have a couple processes that include a revision date on it.  I do it via a readonly date field that pre-populates the date with a default value setting.  When I make any changes to the process, I always modify that default value on the date.  I have a custom HTML element on the top of the form that has big bold red text reminding me to update the revision date with any changes (and I have Field Rules or CSS to hide that custom HTML element - so I see it on the Layout page, but not on the active form).
