If I understand you question correctly, you would use a few different approaches:
1. Laserfiche Import Agent - Seperate Install from Workflow that can be configured to monitor a particular folder and automatically import into Laserfiche and trigger a workflow
2. Drag and drop from a window folder to the Laserfiche repository using the Windows / Web client and triggering a workflow.
3. From within the windows / web client use the import feature manually browse / select the documents and import into a folder being monitored by a workflow.

I don't think I have explained myself well, I need an example of a workflow to be able to import a pdf document that is in a windows folder to lasfiche.
I have read that it is better to use the laserfiche import agent, but I would like to use a workflow, can you help me?
