Braintree for multiple departments and needing to have separate account for each form

Good day all

 

I have a customer that has multiple departments using forms with Braintree payment gateway.

is there any way to have department "A" payments in a separate bucket in Braintree from the payments in Department "B". I can only see one place in forms to enter Merchant ID?

With the newer versions of Forms, multiple payment gateways can be configured in Forms Config.

do you have to pay for anything to have multiple gateways and will they be separate in the backend of Braintree

Not with Laserfiche. You can read more about how to configure it here: Configuring the Payment Gateway Integration (laserfiche.com). After you configure all of your gateways, when you add the payment option to your Laserfiche Form you choose which payment gateway it will use.

Thanks for the info, just one more question to confirm, with each Braintree payment gateway all the funds will be separate at the Braintree site, this way the company accounting departments will be all separated for auditing. And thank you for your quick reply
