Update Word Doc - MergeTable Not Working

Hello, 

I am extremely new to LF and WF so this may be a simple question but when creating this WF my update word document feature seems to not be updating. A blank sheet is being created and moved correctly however it does not return any of the data from my custom query, only the field merge names. Does anyone know why this will not update with the information given? It says that the activity was preformed with no errors so I am having a hard time troubleshooting.

Can you try placing a Track Tokens activity to the end of your workflow and confirm whether your Custom Query is returning anything?

Hi Michelle,

 

I added the track tokens activity and my the result from my custom query returns 43 results. See picture attached

The tokens don't seem to match what in your screenshot? 

Are these the right tokens? And is your Attach Electronic File activity set to attach to result file of the Update Word Document activity?

My activity was not set to the result file of the update word doc activity, this was the issue! Everything seems to be populating in word document now. 

 

Since I have only worked with PDF I was thinking it was a server attachment.
