Question

CSS to change color of text in a dropdown field in Modern Designer.

asked on August 7, 2023

Hello, I am in Modern Designer trying to change the color of my drop down list values to red.  In the Classic Designer I could use #qfieldID select {color: red!important;}, however that doesn't work in Modern Designer I have tried using the FieldID, CSS class and different selectors to change the drop down list color but I can't get the list to change colors. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, I was able to do this with the themes and fields. Not sure if this is what you were looking for.

Hello Debby,

I did change both the Label Text, and Body Text to be red but that changed the other fields to be red. I only one this on Field to be red, and have the values of the drop down be red.

Even making those changes the values in my dropdown list didn't change color. So, it is close but not quite what I am looking for.
