How to search for only the record folders in a Cloud Workflow?

I'm trying to create a workflow in LF Cloud to assign filing dates to their records after a migration from a network drive. Due to resourcing, I'm going to be running this after the documents have been routed to their correct record folders, since setting the filing date at that point slowed the routing down to a crawl. However, I'm not seeing a good way to only grab the record folder and not every regular folder underneath it since the Search Repository activity conditions are so limited.

Does anyone have any experience with this or have any insight to offer here? Basically as an example I'll have A Adminsitration as a record series, with A00, A01, A02 record series under that and then the record folders under that (for example year folders for current year cutoffs).

Before Search Repository existed one workaround that we used was to store shortcuts in a hidden folder then later do a Find Entries and retrieve all the shortcuts and choose to retrieve the entry for each shortcut. Then you could iterate through the list and do you longer-running processes after the fact. Does that make sense?
