Question

Does Laserfiche 10.3 Support Windows Server 2022

asked on July 12, 2023

The Laserfiche compatibility matrix at  https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1012418/supported-os-list-versions-7-8-9-10-11  explicitly lists Laserfiche 11 and 10.4 as supporting Windows Server 2022, but Laserfiche version 10.3 is not referenced. The latest Operating system version listed in the Laserfiche 10.3 Release Notes is Windows Server 2016, so I am looking for documentation (or confirmation from Laserfiche) addressing whether or not Laserfiche 10.3 supports Win Server 2022. Any help or feedback is appreciated!

Laserfiche 10.3 has not been tested by Laserfiche on Windows Server 2022. It is likely to work, but since it already out of support, we will not troubleshoot any issues you may encounter.

We would recommend that you use at least 10.4 going forward.

Older versions of Laserfiche are not usually tested for operating systems that were released after the Laserfiche version was released. I will say though that moving Laserfiche 10.3 to a 2022 server would not be the best move since it has hit the end of its support life as of December 31, 2022.

Thanks for your response, Blake! The client in question intends to upgrade their version of LFS before version 10.3 is no longer supported. They are just needing to know in the interim if LFS 10.3 is compatible with Win Server 2022 until they are ready to move forward with upgrading their Laserfiche applications.

Vache, 10.3 is already not supported. Its support life ended December 31, 2022.
