access was denied you can retry using a specific windows account

We just restarted our servers and when they come up we are getting this error on the forms side

Laserfiche Forms has encountered a problem.

The Forms license fingerprint does not match this computer. This error may occur when ASP.NET Impersonation is enabled on the Forms site in IIS. [LFF5000-LicenseFingerprintMismatch]

 

All the Fingerprint files match but we cone access the application instance.- this error occurs when I click on Lookup for the fingerprint: access was denied you can retry using a specific windows account... has anyone seen this before?

Hi Dominique,

 

Try running showhwfp.exe on the forms server directly (you can find this in c:\program files\laserfiche\server on the LF app server) and compare the fingerprint this produces rather than trusting the lookup button in LFDS. I have seen instances where the lookup in LFDS silently fails and the browser autocomplete populates the fingerprint field so you 'think' it's worked, but in reality it failed.
