Forms Layout Designer - variable management for collections

Is there a way to delete unused variables that are in a collection?  The Variable Management tab does not list the variables that are in a collection.  I'm wondering how I can delete or rename these variables?

I haven't worked with a table in Forms Layout Designer so I'm not sure if there are the same issues with table variables.

If you select the collection's variable on the Variable Management page, you should see the list of variables inside the collection on the right and have options to rename or delete them individually.

Tables work the same way.
