Email Approval server problem

Dears,, 

Please note that we are facing a problem while we trying to apply the Email Approval server settings on Laserfiche application.  

Note: the authorize testing for email succeeds but the problem occur when try to test the connection as in the attached screenshot 

Please need to solve this issue 

 

The test email failed because: Failed to connect to the email server outlook.office365.com:993. This issue can occur if the server does not support IMAP. [LFF2002-EmailApprovalServerConnection]

Hi, have you click on the "Authorize" button and validate the process?  Make sure you click on the Save button as well. I have to do this every 90 days.

hi 

I clicked on the "Authorize" button and validate the process successfully. and saved the settings, but when try to click on the "test connection" button the below error appear: 

"The test email failed because: Failed to connect to the email server outlook.office365.com:993. This issue can occur if the server does not support IMAP. [LFF2002-EmailApprovalServerConnection]"

is there any solution for this issue ?

Hi, can you specify the version of Form you are using? As we have fixed a similar bug with ID [389261] in 11update3. So, we recommend you update your Form if you are using a lower version. 

Besides, you can check the configuration of your Microsoft 365 account for SMTP OAuth 2.0 by the following steps:

  1. Login into admin center
  2. Find and click your account under Users >> Active users
  3. Under Mail >> manage email apps, make sure that "IMAP"  and Authenticated SMTP are enabled. 

 

If the issue still occurs after you tried above steps, you can propose a support case.

Hi, we now support masked client secret value when focus out in Configuration site on Forms 11 Update 4.

Authorization succeeds, and then the config is saved, but testing fails as it does for the Shaban user above.

Is this issue still not rectifiable in Forms version 10.4.5.xxx? We can upgrade to Forms 11 update 5 if that's what's needed.

The bug was not patched into version 10. The root cause is one of our components still attempts  to connect over TLS 1.0 and fails when only TLS 1.2 is allowed.
