Greetings,
We have a client with a structure in Alfresco, around 3 million images and data. Has anyone had experience or can recommend how to perform a migration of this type to Laserfiche?

Hi. Not sure if this will help, but here goes...
When we converted from a small (not name-brand) document imaging system to LF, we did it through LF SDK scripts and workflows, and reading the old doc imaging database to get the metadata and images.
For Alfresco, it appears that there are many ways to export data from that system, and then depending on the export format of the metadata and images, you should be able to use LF workflows to import the data in. I think any method you use will involve using one or more LF workflows that you write, along with possibly some SDK scripts that you would write.
I found the following site when doing a Google search for "Alfresco export". It might give you a place to start to get the data out of Alfresco:
