Set a field default value in a profile attribute

Hi!

 

Is there a way to set a field default value in a profile attribute? This would allow users to set their own default for a particular field.

There isn't currently the idea of a per-user default value for a template field. Can you say more about the problem that it would help you solve?

A user has to manually set a required template year every time they import a document into Laserfiche. The company does not want a default date for all of the users.

Thanks for the feedback. It's an interesting use case, and I could see it fitting into Import Profiles. I'll bring the idea to the team.
