Windows Client Refresh Folder Bug

asked on March 13, 2023 Show version history

In the Windows Client 11.0.2301.262, if the option to "Refresh folders automatically" is turned on, when the refresh happens the content pane scrolls down the page each time it refreshes. This is causing issues for our teams in keeping track of where they were at with processing documents in the folder that is refreshing.

Thank you for fixing this in the Laserfiche Windows Client 11 Update 4.

It appears it's not just when that option is turned on. If we drag a document out of a folder to another folder, it happens as well. It might be happening any time the folder refreshes.

I can also recreate the issue by going into a folder with a lot of entries and hitting F5 to refresh over and over and watch the scroll bar slowly make its way to the bottom.

Has anyone else been able to replicate this or confirm if it is a bug?

We've gotten at least one other report of this (or at least what seems like the same issue) and have a bug for it in our system, 417139.

Any guesstimate on when it will be resolved? This is causing issues for our teams, and I would rather not have to downgrade them if possible.

We will have an update to Windows Client in mid May and we should have a fix for this issue. Thank you.
