Adobe Sign integration invalid uri error

asked on March 8, 2023

I am attempting to get the Adobe Sign integration process setup; however, when I send the document the [AdobeSign] - HTTP Request workflow throws an error. "Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed." The URI Parameter = api.na3.adobesign.com/api/rest/v6/transientDocuments/ this is being passed in from the previous workflows and seems to be correct.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Just a guess, but does the uri need a protocol? What if you prepend "https://"  to it?

Yes I am sending the https://. Laserfiche is investigating this as they are able to recreate the issue.

yes, same exact issue. I have an AdobeSign solution in production and in development environments.

For some reason the one dev is throwing the same error message for me now. I CAN successfully run the call using the AdobeSign REST API method page, but no matter what I try in workflow, I can't get this to work im my dev.

This is for a document upload call so in Workflow ultimately, that part cannot be fully  tested.

Have any luck on your end?

This issue should be resolved by applying Workflow 11 Update 3 from https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014461/list-of-changes-for-workflow-11-update-3

It was due to bug 420280 where when Workflow initially creates the entry in the repository and attaches the electronic document to it, it sets an invalid MIME type which then causes a 400 bad request error in Adobe Sign.
