Import agent Port Security to connect to Cloud

Our customer's File Server that Import Agent is running on is hardened with all ports, etc closed.

What Ports need to be open for Import Agent to be able to Upload files to LF Cloud?

If there is a Base URL that Import Agent connects to, what would it be as they restrict connection points as well?

 

The Laserfiche Default Ports Document doesn't include anything for Cloud

Import Agent requires outbound connectivity on TCP port 443 (HTTPS) to the applicable Laserfiche Cloud region's domain:

  • *.laserfiche.com
  • *.laserfiche.ca
  • *.eu.laserfiche.com

Plus:

  • *.lfxstatic.com
    • Likely needed to render the interactive login dialog for Import Agent config

 

See below, and note that you don't need any of the S3 URLs for Import Agent.
