"Tasks Assigned to You" notification resent 15 times, only one user

I have one user reporting that each Monday she's getting 15 copies of the "Tasks Assigned to You" email notification. Every Monday, each of us is to get just one email listing tasks assigned to us and providing links to them.

I believe this is the Laserfiche Notification Service? What could be causing someone to get 15 copies each time?

This issue was identified as bug (id: 417862) and is fixed on 11 Update 3 Hotfix 1014449, see more information from https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014449/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-11-update-3-hotfix-1014449

Hi Connie,

This is a bug we recently identified on Forms 11 Update 3.

It is not the Laserfiche Notification Service. It is the settings on FormsConfig => Email Settings => Recurring Notification. The emails are sent from Laserfiche Forms Routing Service.

The bug causes some users receive duplicate aggregated emails while some users do not receive the emails. This happens when some email server is a bit slow to connect to (external email servers like office 365).

We are actively working on a fix. You can contact your VAR and open a support case, we will inform you when a hotfix is available.

Hi Connie,

Does the 15 copies point to same task or different ones? This sounds like a support issue, so I'd recommend you contact your VAR and open a support case for further check.

This is the email notification that can inform you of each task you are assigned to. In this case, this person had five tasks assigned, 3 of the same inspection process but different ones and two of the service request processes but different ones.

She received 15 emails, each email outlining the exact same five assignments. That same day, I received only one of this email and it outlined correctly 4 tasks I was assigned to.
