Does LFDS's SAML implementation support forceAuthn option?

If so, how would you configure to enable the forceAuthn = true option in the AuthnRequest?

It doesn't currently. Let me see what I can do.

In the meantime, I would check if there's equivalent functionality you can enable on the SAML IdP side. See for example Force Re-Authentication with AD FS.

@████████ and @████████ (and anyone else subscribed to this), what identity providers are you using where the SP sending ForceAuthn=true in the SAML request is useful? We want to add those to our internal item for context.

I remember having a conversation with Damon about it, but I do not recall the specifics. Hopefully he can shed more light on it.

As of the end of 2022 it was not supported yet, and I haven't seen any LFDS updates for 2023 yet.
