What is the SplitQueryForListingProperties?

I noticed in the Laserfiche 11 February 2023 list of changes for the Laserfiche Server 11 Update 2 that it stated

Shortcut metadata is not shown when SplitQueryForListingProperties is enabled. This issue is now resolved. (398390)

What is the SplitQueryForListingProperties? I searched the Support Site and Answers and couldn't find anything referencing it.

It's a Laserfiche Server option for improving performance of displaying large numbers of entries in scenarios where the list uses large numbers of fields as columns.

There is no UI to set it, it's only been available through support tickets in specific scenarios. One of the side-effects of setting it was that the columns wouldn't display metadata on any shortcuts present in the set of entries.
