A user has the iPad Laserfiche App with a form stored locally for offline field work.
The field work consists of a few field entries and images taken to be submitted with the form.
User was out in the field this morning and submitted 13 offline forms, each one with ~3 pictures.
The Form's limitation for file size is 250mb, and 10 files per form.
He got back into the office, iPad got on on the internal wifi (not a huge amount of traffic as it is limited to certain devices) and 2 forms uploaded and the rest failed.
I had him log out of the app and back in again and one form uploaded, the rest failed.
I looked at the even viewer of the server that the forms, and mobile, instances are on and the Event Viewer showed multiple instances of failed uploads due to file size exceeded.
Looking at the offline forms the file size and file count is not hitting the limits identified in the form itself.
Is there a bandwidth issue at play? Is there an inherent size, or count, limit that is buried in the app?
Did he just overload the upload function of the iPad and server?
I was able to upload an offline form with 6 images without issue when the device was back on wifi.
Not certain what is going on here, have asked my VAR but figured I would post here as well.
