With the latest upgrade of Forms 11.0.2212.30907 the monitoring filter for Start Date is now defaulted to "Last 30 days" which has introduced a lot of questions due to users not noticing the default has changed. And not able to find items.

Is this configurable in the system either at a system level or per user?

Hi Martin,

in Forms 11 Update 3, the Start Date option is changed to Last 30 days by default in order to reduce time when loading thousands of instances all at once. I filed a bug 412923 as per your request, we will consider enhancing the user experience in future release. Right now the users need to change this option themselves, sorry for the inconvenience it brought.

Let me know if there is other concerns on this.

If you are considering allowing an Admin to be able to set what the default option should be, please also consider allowing them to choose if any of the status' should be selected or not. We love the new 'Last 30 days' setting as it saves time loading the page since we have over 950,000 instances (and growing) that get returned, but we would also like to default it to select 'In Progress'.

How about remembering the user's choices from last time and just not loading results until they click the Apply button (rename it as Search instead of Apply)?

I have to say that "last 30 days" is fine IF it was based on last updated date. I frequently miss daily activity due to the process having started over a month ago. Net result is that after I bring up the monitor view, I always have to then switch to ALL.

Hi, we have supported configuring "InstanceFilterStartDate" in the advanced options page on Forms 12.
