New Forms Designer Cloud - Possible to keep the logo on generated PDF files

asked on January 12, 2023 Show version history

With the classic designer if you generate a PDF to attach to an email activity, it will keep the logo assigned in the header of the theme. Is it possible to do this with the new designer? Otherwise it just looks like this on the PDF sent out.

Hi Chad,

I just did a test and found that the logo in the PDF generated from the Form in our Cloud still comes through fine on the attachment.

The attached PDF was generated from a 'New Designer' Form, with a saved Theme applied - and the logo is uploaded in that Theme. It was sent to me as an email attachment by a Forms Email Service Task.

I get the same result (that the logo is fine) regardless of whether I choose Attach Form from 'From a previous process step' or 'Using current process data'. It also works fine using the Classic designer... so essentially I can't replicate your issue.

Have you tried simply deleting the logo from the Theme and then re-adding it? (Sometimes I see that broken image link and it seems something needs to be cleared out of a cache somewhere).

Did some more detailed investigating, the old designer supports a logo format called svg, but the new designer does not.

Using a .png works in the new designer though, so I used a free online converter.
