configuring Sharepoint online and aserfiche workflow onpremise

We're interested in configuring Sharepoint online with Laserfiche workflow onpremise, but I can't find a recent definitive answer on that.
We would like the steps to perform such a configuration, has anyone performed such a configuration?

Here we have the document to configure the activity: Create list item (laserfiche.com), but I understand that it is not possible for it to work with Sharepoint Online.

I notice that in Workflow 11 Update 2, OAuth authentication for Office 365 Exchange has been addressed. Has SharePoint Online been updated to use OAuth? Is that on the roadmap?

SharePoint Online is not currently supported due to its deprecation of basic authentication late last year. Workflow has not been updated to support OAuth for SharePoint Online yet.

I would be interested in this as well since we are not planning on migrating to the cloud at least for the next couple of years.
